If you have never attended a rooftop event, we’re sure you’ll have lots of questions about the experience and our Wrigley View Rooftop facility. Please see frequently asked questions below. Admission to Wrigley View Rooftop located at 1050 W. Waveland Ave. This is one (1) rooftop, we are not affiliated with any of the surrounding rooftops. Your ticket purchase will be for admission to our Wrigley View Rooftop, only. We have a capacity of 200 guests, however, for the postseason, we are selling a limited amount of 150 tickets to allow for a more spacious experience. Doors open 1 hour prior to scheduled game time. All food and beverage service are inclusive in the price of your ticket. Beer, Wine, Soda, and Alcohol Malts. Guests enjoy 3 hours of our delicious Buona Catering ballpark style food. Per the City of Chicago Ordinance, alcohol may only be served until the end of the seventh inning.
There is no assigned, reserved or saved seating at the rooftop. Everyone can mix and mingle with plenty of room to roam around on different levels. We offer premium stadium seats, an exterior covered level, and our interior, and climate controlled Clubhouse. The capacity of our facility is 200 guests. A rooftop event is an experience of roaming around to different levels and there is NO ASSIGNED, RESERVED or SAVED seating. Wrigley View Rooftop will be selling a limited amount of 150 to our 200 capacity. We have 100 seats in our facility and availability of seats are on a first come, first serve basis. We will not tolerate, having someone in your group, arriving and attempting to save any seats or an entire row. Any violation of this rule and you, and your group will be asked to leave the rooftop without a refund. If you observe any such violation please feel free to alert our staff immediately. Our facility includes an elevator and is ADA compliant. If you feel you cannot abide by these rules of the rooftop, please do not continue with your purchase.
The venue opens 1 hour prior to game time and closes 1/2 hour after the conclusion of the game. Entry to the Rooftop is located in the back of the building at 1050 W. Waveland Avenue, Chicago, IL 60613 (next door to the firehouse on Waveland Avenue). An official Wrigley View representative will check in all guests. All guests are required to provide a valid picture ID. Wrigley View reserves the right to deny entrance to any guest, and to remove any guest, that appears intoxicated, engages in unruly or inappropriate behavior or acts in any fashion which is contrary to the law and likely to disrupt or inconvenience the rooftop event. All dates and times subject to change. It is the responsibility of the ticket holder to check for dates/time updates on the MLB website. No refunds given for time changes.
No age limit is required to attend our rooftops. You must be 21 and older and present valid photo identification in order to drink alcoholic beverages. Children under 18 must be accompanied by adult.
There is very limited parking in the area surrounding the ballpark. Public transportation or group transportation is strongly encouraged. There are various self-pay lots located around the ballpark. Please note that nearby streets require residential permits.
Parties are not considered cancelled unless the Chicago Cubs and/or Major League Baseball officially cancel the game. In the event of cancellation prior to the start of a game, food and drink service will continue for up to 3 hours after the scheduled start of the game. No refunds or credits of any kind will be given and the contract shall be considered fulfilled; OR: Patron may reschedule the event on the makeup game date announced by the Chicago Cubs or Major League Baseball. Food and liquor service will cease immediately upon this option. No refunds or credits will be issued. In the event of a rain delay, alcoholic beverage service will continue for up to 3 hours after the Rooftop opening. Alcoholic beverage service will stop based upon Rooftop discretion after 3 hours of being open.
Full payment is due at the time of booking. Full names of each guest will be required on the day of purchase. We accept payment through our website or for groups, of 100+ guests, by company check made payable to Wrigley View Rooftop, Inc.
Credit cards are accepted through our website or through our sales representatives.
For corporate groups of 100 or more guests, Wrigley View Rooftop accepts corporate and cashier’s checks or money orders made payable to Wrigley View Rooftop Inc.
We are not permitted to sell game day tickets. Any additional guests must be added and paid for prior to the start of the game and can only be added to an existing group reservation. You may change your guest name up to 24 hours before arrival to the event. Please call the office to confirm at 773-362-1050.
No banners, sign-age or logos can be hung facing the ball park per our agreement with the Cubs and City of Chicago Ordinance
Catering will begin at the time our doors open and continue for 3 hours. We are happy to have The Buona Restaurant Group as our 2016 food partner. They're an iconic Chicago eatery that have many restaurants in Chicagoland. It's a true "taste of Chicago" but with the healthiest of meat products. They also offer delicious gluten-free and vegetarian options.
City of Chicago ordinance limits service to beer and wine. No hard liquor of any kind will be served. We reserve the right to stop serving anyone that appears intoxicated or unruly or otherwise violates rooftop rules.
A reservation for an event is non-cancellable and non-refundable. In the event the game is cancelled for any reason prior to the scheduled start and prior to catering being provided a full credit will be issued which can be used for any future game based on availability. In the event the game is cancelled for any reason prior to scheduled start and Client’s guests have assembled on the roof and wish to stay after the scheduled game time no refund or credit will be issued and full catering services (3 hours) will be provided that day. Once said group participates in any food or beverage service no refund or credit shall be issued. Once the game begins, there will be no refund, or credit issued regardless of rain delays postponements, or cancellations.
